| How do I save an InDesign file as a TIFF?
I usually save my InDesign documents as PDFs, however I am submitting my document to a publication that specifically wants all pages of the documents saved as tiffs at 1200 ppi/dpi.
InDesign does not have the option to export directly as a .tif.
I've already tried the obvious method of first saving them as a PDF and then exported that as a .tif which ended up dropping the images below 1200 ppi. Then I tried exporting as a JPG at 1200 ppi, opening in photoshop and saving as a .tif. While it said it was 1200 ppi the printout looked more like 72 dpi.
The obvious methods do not work. Is there any way I can export a high quality .tiff from InDesign rather than redoing the entire book layout page by page in Photoshop?
